This will not charge Seiko Kinetic Watches
2 of 3 found this helpful In spite of the Item description this watch winder will NOT wind Seiko Kinetic watches without modification. I know that for a fact because I have had this model of watch winder before which I purchased from a Seiko watch engineer who had modified it to work with Seiko kinetics. Rotary winders provide insufficient movement to wind Seiko kinetics. You have to take out the centre rotating mechanism and then vary carefully cut away one of the plastic turn tabs so that the mechanism free falls from 12 noon position to 6 pm position. This gives the Seiko kinetic, the jolt it needs each time to charge. My last modified one lasted over 2 years in constant use (I have 3 seiko kinetics). I have modified this new one which will last another 2 years. The Seiko engineer charges £95 for a modified one, it took me 15 mnutes to adapt it.

To big and substantial for a 24 ins LCD
1 of 1 found this helpful Big, strong mount. When I mounted a 24 ins Panasonic lcd tv on it the top part of the mount was visible above the top edge of the TV. It protruded above the edge to the extent it spoilt the look. There may be no problem with a 26 ins and above. With hindsight I should have got a lighter smaller mount.
