time will tell
I had this unit for over a year and found very satisfactory. If I am working and in a noisy environment (diy enthusiast), I just moved one of the receivers into the room I was in, so easy.

value for money
I used these to replace a pair of 'flip up' clip on's, that cost double the price and came in a plastic sheathe. these come in a much more solid built case. In blinding sunlight, the sun reflection was so low I did not notice while reading a book.

nice and loud
This is loud (ideal for slightly deaf(me)), and has a large face for easy setting. With a 30 second alarm before it resets, this has to be the ideal buy.
