Mounting in 1/4" fiberglass tub surround.
Product works as advertised. I mounted it on a 1/4" fiberglass tub surround and it installed easily. I do note thqt there is some "give" on that end of the grab bar as the fiberglass does not provide a solid backing for the mount due to the fiberglass thickness, but that was expected. The other end of the bar is mounted into a stud, so that end is firm and the bar, overall, will support weight adequately for its purpose. This was a 36" grab bar and there was no option to hit two studs on 16" centers for this horizontal mounting.
