Works as advertised
Works great and the old snow blower I put it on starts easily now and it generates a nice strong spark. Only one issue though: No instructions were provided so I did not know the part could be installed backwards- It fits the same either way. However it only works ONE way.

Light duty at best
The ad says this is a 500 watt balun. The instruction sheet in the package says it's good for 250 watts. The #16 teflon insulated wire was only one piece. The other two were #18 PVC insulated (very flamable). I called the manufacturer and they started to give me a song and dance about they use the pvc insulated wire to fine tune the impeadence match. This is PURE BS. They gave in and sent me the correct wire free of charge which was very nice. So I put it together and used it to match open wire line to an unbalanced Yaesu tuner. It gets very hot at 100 watts. If you need a 500 watt balun this is not it.
