U get what you pay for !

When I seen 200kg per shelf I thought great and when I seen the price I thought even better !! but when I started building this unit I thought no way , its so unstable and flimsy , I thought it was good it managed to stand unaided. I suppose it worth the price tag but I don't think I could trust its integrity if fully loaded and definitely not if it's free standing . It really needs some diagonal support in all directions , braced top to bottom diagonally on the back and sides would greatly improve the item and wouldn't be expensive to rectify , also if the shelving boards locked into the frame it would greatly improve the rigidity. I bought 9 units and after I built 1 unit I thought it wouldn't be fit for purpose. Then I built another couple and only cable tied them together and backed them against a wall , this made a major difference to the stability and once I fixed them to the wall they really became quite ridged and I felt confident I could use them . Cheap and cheerful they are and I wouldn't recommend them for heavy duty use also I would label them useless for free standing implementations and actually quite hazardous without coupling together or fixing to a structure. Not a quality product...achieves value for money and.... will do the job with a few interventions . Personal recommendations would be circumstantial depend on the intended use . I feel my review is fair and accurate. I hope my review benefits the manufacturer and helps the purchaser to make an informed decision when buying the item .
