impressions are mostly positive
My initial impressions are mostly very positive after stepping up from 720p tv
Positives
I am a big fan of the 21:9 UW from a productivity POV (feels like 2 screens in 1) and for playing compatible games. I also like that it is a flat panel (disclaimer: I have never owned a curved screen, so maybe don’t know what I am missing), it comfortably fills in my field of vision without any distortion.
I am running it with Freesync turned on, G-sync compatibility was easily enabled and appears to be working without any issues. Struggling to get near the 144hz at max res in many games with my gpu but with the variable refresh rate, it is still very smooth.
The screen looks great. Colours look good straight away, with deep blacks and it gets nice and bright, but please note I am very much a layman when it comes to calibration/settings. The out-the-box screen looks much better than my old 720p tvs. I definitely feel that once someone who knows what they are doing has had a chance to make adjustments, it could look even better.
I haven't noticed any IPS glow around the edges, although I believe it is not a true IPS panel but rather an ADS-IPS - nonetheless I think it looks really nice and I’m not seeing any of the issues I have heard about with this type of panel.
Seems to offer very good value for money.
Issues
The OSD is a bit of a fiddle to use, with the buttons behind the screen and doesn't feel very intuitive. Turning on some options will turn off others – for instance enabling Freesync means HDR turns off, but for my usage I’d rather have the variable refresh rates.
The speakers are expectedly bad. I would not recommend using them.Read full review

Useful size, decent speed and brightness for gaming, and flat for work too.
We wanted a monitor that would be used by the whole family, with some people combining gaming with doing school work, and others just shopping and browsing the web. We has two different monitors side by side but thought that that was a bit awkward, so one ultrawide seemed a good idea as a replacement. We looked at flat and curved monitors but were concerned that a curved one might be off putting for those of us who mainly wanted to use it for work, and actually went to the Scan shop in Bolton to see a curved ultrawide one in real life, and we just didn't think it would be so good for office tasks.
This one seemed to have all the features we wanted and we found two reviews online that seemed good so we ordered it from Box. It has been very good, coming with a decently adjustable stand, and having a good screen and no dead pixels. The speed and ability to work with g-sync are excellent, things really do look smoother when they are moving compared to my previous main monitor (a Dell that could do 75 Hz) so the gamers are happy. The space on screen is big enough for three portrait windows of about A4 size, so it is really handy for office tasks, and being flat it does not take up so much room on the desk, despite the large size. It is a very good replacement for two normal screens, and we're all satisfied with it.
The only issue we found was that we had to run the cleartype wizard on Windows a couple of times to get small text to appear properly without odd tinted edges.Read full review

Great value monitor
The the monitor controls are terrible anything other than the directional stick.
I tried picture by picture but osd is too bad to recommend it.
Viewing angle are good enough for sitting Infront of it but may need a swivel for sharing but at the stand has a swivel, hight and tilt. 34 inch is ok for flat monitors in terms of productivity but honestly a mild curve 1800r, 1900r would aid gaming due field of view. I sit 60cm-65cm away from monitor and any high adjustable monitor will sit 4cm closer than a non high adjust one so monitor arm would aid this product as it has some tilt wobble with movement on the desk. Maybe a thick mouse pad or rubber pad under the stand would help absorb the vibrations.
The gaming experience so far has been good putting overdrive to max has reduced trails in the UFO test. The screen is very Matt and contrast ratio is on the lower to mid end of the ISP scale. I get no reflection off my pc RGB light but off axis text has a little less clarity but a good balance for productivity, a non Matt or glossier screen may help with black depth.
Input lag is not great at 60hz as far as I can tell but past that it seem perfectly fine for budget orientated gamers.
A lower input lag 120hz monitor will feel better than this monitor but will be double the price so is great for the price in all honesty.
Hdr is a joke on this monitor it does get bright enough. If you want hdr look at hdr600 monitor and local dimming.
The usb hub has a always on usb port which is one of the best feature for charging up devices and is a usb 3.0 hub so bandwidth is good enough for keyboards and mice.Read full review

Just cant fault the display in any way really, and for the price its just the best buy out there, no dead pixels i can find and a nice slim bezel, stand is good in my opinion giving enough adjustment for my needs,
only bad point i feel is the position of the usb ports not the best placement but im being picky now, in summery buy it, an amazing bit of kitRead full review

Awesome monitor, would have bought 2 of them!
Awesome monitor, would have bought 2 of them at £300 if I’d realised it would be this good! Love the ultrawide aspect, great brightness/clarity, also has PIP, and surprisingly - the speakers are great too! They are the best onboard speakers I’ve heard on a monitor so far, and fill the room nicely.Read full review
