iRobot Roomba 960 a great product.

I was skeptical in buying our first Robot vacuum, but this 960 performs like a champ. We've been using it constantly since we got it about a week ago and haven't had to use our upright at all. Quite Impressed for a first time buy of a robot vacuum.

This little robot performs exactly as described and i'm honestly impressed at what it can do it works extremely well for pet hair which is one of the big factors I needed when I purchased it. I would however only give it 4 out of 5 stars with the 2 only complaints I have being due to it's cliff sensors which are used to prevent the Roomba from falling down stairs or ledges gives it some trouble cleaning dark surfaces and the other being the Roomba sometimes has a habit of moving too quickly and it unintentionally ramming objects when it's doing its cleaning routine which only really happens when it's in a new environment or moved to a new location. Otherwise I would definitely rate this 5 stars if it weren't for those 2 things.Read full review

Not perfect but it works great!

The Roomba 960 performs perfectly.
When I received it I was afraid that it would be as damaged as the packaging.
The box may have been damaged in transit but the interior packing was a torn up mess! Still, I took the Roomba 960 and it's accessories out of the box, read through the directions, installed the battery and decided to give it a try. It was already charged and ready to go.
It does a great job picking up all of the fine debris that I'd been missing. Goes under most of out tables and chairs. Runs well on carpet, vinyl flooring and even handles area rugs easily.
Emptying the dust bin is simple. but can be a bit messy if you don't hold it over a large enough waste basket. After the Roomba 960 was running for 29 or so minutes I did notice a piece of the trim was missing. It doesn't seem to effect the function of the machine though so I did not feel I needed to return it,Read full review

Finally got a Roomba and it is worth it

The product connects fairly easy and after a few cleanings it learns the route and becomes more efficient. We have an indoor pet and the Roomba does not get all the hair it is way better than trying to sweep three or four times a day. Now we can do one or two good floor cleanings a week and not constantly see pet hair everywhere.Read full review

You need a "strong" internet connection to use the remote features.

Works very well in manual mode but buyers should be aware that a "strong" internet connection is required to use the remote setup and control features of this Roomba and there is no manual setup option. My AT&T home phone/internet device will not support Roomba's remote mode.Read full review

Good value for the money

This model does not have the capacity to remember mapping each trip, it will map during cleaning to assist in getting a whole floor of the house cleaned. For the money, definitely a great robotic vacuum. I have to tell it to return for charging after 70-80 minutes or it will discharge completely somewhere during a cleaning cycle, but still in my opinion a very good product. Raves for Roomba

Performs better than expected! Roomba does a great job on our tile and wood floors. We live in Florida and carpet free living is better for my allergies. Roomba picks up dust, etc. that we can't even see on the floors.

The app timer to schedule cleanings works well. Battery allows thorough cleaning time and the fact that Roomba returns automatically to the docking station to recharge is amazing.Read full review
