Bottle cracked and everything spilled out

All was good for a couple of weeks until the bottle cracked while applying and almost entire bottle spilled out into my hair, eyes and the carpet. Very bad design. The bottle is made out of some kind off very hard plastic and difficult to get the product out. So have to squeeze, there is no other way to make it come out.
