Camera is quite good in daylight but the IR illuminator is useless beyond 8ft. Would need to mount at head height to get any sort of picture in the dark. In that case any IR reflectors e.g glass in the field of view would also make it useless. Not really a practical security device.Read full review

I.R Diodes blow for a pass time - hopeless

Camera quality seems good BUT, I.R Diodes blow for a pass time, and it doesn't look easy to break the case apart to repair so not good.
