WORKS AS GOOD AS AN EXPENSIVE SYSTEM - WHY PAY MORE

This is a very good - easy to use alarm. I have several around the house. The batteries last a long time and the alarm is very loud so why bother with anything more complicated. They are very reasonably priced and look neat and unobtrusive in any setting. I would advertise them as house alarms, not just for sheds and garages as they do a perfectly adequate job in the house. There is no maintenance apart from batteries and should something go wrong with one, it is simple to replace it without the bother of having Engineers out. They can be fixed to a hook on the wall or just left freestanding on a bookcase etc. Would highly recommend.Read full review

Great value, wish I bought this one first.

I bought two cheaper ones before finally buying a branded one. Wish I had bought this one first.
The others were around only 7-8£ but when you hold one of those in one hand and a Yale in the other you realise where the extra money has been spent.
Better quality Plastics used, better keypad, much louder and better quality alarm speaker and even easier to use. In fact I don't see how it could be easier.
Save your time and valuables and buy one of these.

Shed alarm

Good quality shed alarm with integrated keypad. Once you've put the 4 AA batteries (not included) in, set your 4 number PIN code. Place it in your shed and press 4 until you hear a beep. That's your alarm set. Any unexpected entries to your shed and your alarm will shriek out a 100db noise that will alert you and scare off any unwanted intruders (hopefully). Great alarm for garden room or shed.

For the money you simply cannot go wrong with this alarm. It is simple to fit and set up and the noise it makes for its size is very impressive. It is not too sensitive so it is has never yet gone off for no apparent reason but it picks up on anyone entering our garden room immediately. Using it for my flat - No problems so far.

The alarm was easy to set up. I was pleased that I took the precaution of wearing ear-plugs while setting it up - when it goes off, the high pitched sound irritates the ears.
I've had it two weeks. I am using it for my flat.
I arm it when I leave the flat and disarm it on returning. I have done this about six times to date.

I added the external alarm extension - the noise when that goes off is only just bearable.

Good alarm.

Very loud and annoying alarm sound,enough to put any intruder off I would imagine.My Mrs had to put fingers in both ears when I tried it!
Very good for a battery alarm. Have installed it in a garage for motorcycle protection. Apparently noise is the most thing thieves hate most!

Worth it but needs some thought securing it

product is loud, works well, movement is detected quickly. The only thing really is the feeble plastic case and how it's screwed to the wall, it could easily be pulled off by hand and smashed within 10 seconds before it even went off, my solution was to cut the shape from a small piece of plywood and screw it around the alarm, countersinking the alarm into the wall so it can't be pryed or grabbed.
