Witcher 3 Sealed & brand new AWESOME!!

I always review games before purchase. So I've yet to buy a REALLY crappy game, the witcher 3 had many of the compelling attributes I look for in a game.
Great graphics - Amazing story
I LIVE LONG GAME'S - The amount of time it takes for me to beat a game is VERY important to me. This game is said to be nearly 100 hours long!!!! But because the edition I grabbed up is the "Complete Edition" it has 50 MORE hours of Add-ons ON DISC.
150 hours total.
Basically a great game over all, its not easy to get me to rate a game 5 stars. If there was an option I would have given this game a 4.5 and here is why..

The control of the horse you are traveling with is SHOT AF!! Horses can swim smwith people on their backs!!! In real life!!!
So why not in a game with magic and elfs?!?!?! Lol and its just plain hard to control the horse period.

Even battling in foot can be a big tough times, but all in all its one of my favorite games ever for the RPG Genre..

Great graphics, but complex crafting system
I am a die hard Fallout and Skyrim fan. I made the mistake thinking this game was similar, but only third person. I found the crafting system very confusing and complex. Great story, tons of quests (many of which are somehow tied in to the main plot or at least other quests, even if you don't realize it at the time), fun gameplay. A bit glitchy, but not too bad; usually more hilarious than annoying; kind of what you have to expect from a huge open-world game like this. Lots of extra content and very reasonably priced. This game is amazing! After I began playing it I became immersed in the story and environment to a level I haven't been since Skyrim was released in 2011. Amazing RPG
I don't know where to begin on this game. CD Projeckt Red should be praised. So many of the nuisances that are associated with RPG's, they account for. I won't spoil any part of the story, but I will say that the story is perhaps one of the most mature stories I have played in a video game since Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3.
As far as combat goes, the combat is amazing. The last game, it was more for hardcore gamer's that prefer the Dark Souls approach. The game difficulty really plays a role as far as the combat goes. For those that prefer the Dark Souls approach in combat, meaning being properly prepared with armor, weapons, and any buffers that apply to the creature that you are facing. On lower difficulties, the game allows you to play according to your own style. Battles are still challenging if you go completely unprepared (meaning weapon and armor health are 40% and under and no health potions, food, or anything to replenish health), but you can choose on whether or not to apply oils to blades, or use mostly magic, or combine magic and blunt attacks. It allows the player to play according to their own tastes as opposed to demanding you play according to a single set of rules.
As far as getting game for your bucks, CD Projeckt Red provides you with enough extra content through DLC's that should satisfy even the most reluctant gamer that doesn't like downloading things. I counted about 12 to 14 DLC's that I was able to download for FREE! And that's unheard of these days. Granted, some of the DLC were, haircuts for Geralt (the main protagonist in the game), clothing options for 2 key characters in the game, Gwent (a card game similar to Yu-Ghi-Yo in the game) cards, armor for Geralt, and about 3 or 4 sidequests that are decently lengthy. And I don't go for the extras that come with games, but the CD that comes with the game has some of the soundtracks in the game. They are very melodic. If you enjoyed some of the music that was in games like Dragon Age Inquisition or The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, you will definitely enjoy playing music like this.
All and all, I believe any gamer, whether they prefer hardcore games where they die often, or even casual gamer's that just want to navigate the story, will find The Witcher 3 to be very exciting. There are other things that the developers made so simple, but I will leave that to the players discovery. If anyone wants more specific answers, they can contact me through eBay.Read full review
