I remember when this first was released reading a rather scathing review in Wire magazine about it saying he had completely run out of ideas at this point .. I loved this record from first hearing liked the vid and own it now on vinyl and the original CD. I like it's mutations and the length of time between new sounds emerging it doesn't have much of the mega frantic beats that his work employs; and maybe that was the source of grievance for said reviewer.. I can't remember the section it was being reviewed in whether Rave-y/dance-y or experimental,, anyway I'm glad to re-connect with this and recommend it to all interested in sound rather than beats.
