A very neat Wi-Fi extender

Well that's what I wanted it for. My main router is plugged into the main socket and I have a box that needs the Internet but does not have Wi-Fi. This extender talks to the main router and I can plug my box into it. An ideal solution.

I gave it a four because although it works perfectly in situ, setting it up was a bit of a dog's breakfast. Leaving aside the tiny tiny print in the instructions the software fought back a bit. Getting to the log in page was fairly easy but having typed in the password just about anything could happen and 50% of the time nothing at all happened.

I saw Error code 440 quite a lot and freezing up quite a lot too. There was a lot of resetting and unplugging until finally it hung together long enough for me to tell it to be a Wi-Fi extender before the setup froze up again. I never got the WPS to work. A lot of flashing of lights and then nothing.

But, as I said, now that it's in servce, butter wouldn't melt.Read full review

Couldn't get it working...

Bought this on recommendation from a friend to bridge a 100m gap between home and outbuilding. Spent 24hrs trying to set it up in the lounge..only able to achieve connection using ethernet cable. I desperation I went to Currys and paid £35 for a BT AC750 EXTENDER which works brilliantly. Can't say this product is rubbish because I literally just gave up trying to set it..maybe I had a bad one. It actually works!!! VERY GOOD!!!! NO WIRES NEEDED!!

So i bought this as my sky was getting 2 out of 5 connection. And since i plugged this in its 5 out of 5. Its very fast it works its amazing and all you have to do is plug it in to the wall, you don't even need wires. The instructions were useless I at to go on youtube. It took me about a hour to do it. I could of done it in 5 Minutes if was better instructions. The only problem I have is trying to get Back on to the wireless-n Page, I type the IP in the web page but still cant get on to it as i need to change the network again.Read full review

Use it for Free Internet

My wife has a little shop in town and she does not want to spend getting a phone line and broadband. She uses the BTFON hotspots that are everywhere. However the signal is not all that strong so by placing one of these where the signal is better (in the ceiling) she can use it as a hotspot signal booster. Does what it's supposed to

Wireless CCTV in the motorbike shed was struggling to pick up any signal from the router which is around 12 metres away and behind 4 brick walls.
Bought this product to try and I must say it does what it's supposed to.
Almost instant when viewing live footage and when controlling the camera.
It does feel a little flimsy but it is £10.99 after all.
Fairly easy to set up.

Wifi Blast Repeater does what it says wirelessly. Spreads the wifi around the house. The wife takes her ipad upstairs and still gets a good signal but its only a 3 bed semi so not sure how far it goes.Read full review
