Perfect match and fit

My 4 zone HVAC system needed some 70VA to operate the control board, 5 dampers and 4 thermostats. The old control board and equipment could operated on the 40VA transformer that came with the furnace but the new board took more current. The WR Transformer was a perfect match for parallel installation to provide the extra current needed for the system. I drilled two holes, mounted it and wired it in. Power applied and it worked perfectly as did the entire system. WR makes a good product and this transformer not only worked with 120VAC, but with other voltages as well.Read full review

"Universal application but one in a million"

installed it a@ 120vac, connected VOM to output and reading was 35v and not 24v and it was too warm with the malfunction odor. the price was ok so i tossed it rather than the hassle of return and wait etc. i probably got the only questionable one from the entire production line of a million of these. it happens. Gets ridiculously hot, but works great.

The 120/24VAC "plugin" transformer that came with the irrigation control unit kept overheating and tripping the breaker in my breaker box. So I replaced that transformer with this on and put this in my breaker box and ran the 24VAC power to my outdoor irrigation control box. I live in NM and it can get to over 130F inside the breaker box and rhis transformer has run all summer 2017 without issue.Read full review
