Excellent piece of kit

I bought this recently when the washing machine spin failed and I was waiting for it to be repaired. I wish I had had one years ago. Just 5 mins does heavy cotton items including towels and dog blankets - a 1600 rpm spin on my machine takes 16 mins!! I hand wash woollen jumpers, they go in sopping wet and 30 - 60 seconds later they come out of the spin dryer ready to hang and air dry. Everything is spun to slightly damp and ready to iron. It's quick, quiet in operation and easily portable. I now set the washing machine spin to just 400 rpm and spin them in the spin dryer. Gets a lot of water out of washing

I bought this for the winter. We don't have room for a tumble dryer and in the winter we really struggle to get washing dry. Or end up with loads of condensation everywhere. Obviously it's spring now so we van use the washing line. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now. It will take about half your washing load at a time. In about 5 minutes it gets loads of extra water out of the washing, so greatly speeds up drying time. It doesn't get things totally dry, but helps.Read full review

Great on rainy days

This machine is excellent.
As with all spinners you must not overload and you have to put the load in evenly. With the top insert to keep the clothes from becoming dislodged, this is not noisy and requires only 5 minutes maximum to remove a goodly amount from the laundry. My washing machine spin gets some out but then this machine extracts another mugful or so extra so they then dry much quicker on the line. I hang them in the kitchen if its raining and usually the laundry will take all day in summer in there and a good 24 hours in winter, with this spinner that is cut to half the time.
You do need to give about 5 mins between each new load so that the motor doesn't get over heated but that is the same with all spinners (mum had many over the years).Read full review

Very handy little spin dryer and easy to use.

This WHITE KNIGHT machine is is ideal to do a fast spin for single items or small loads taking just a couple of minutes. Excellent good value machine and highly recommended.
(we needed this spin dryer because our new 'smart' washing machine refuses to do a fast spin of single items presumably because it senses that the load is not balanced in the drum. Very frustrating! Even if it does spin a load it takes a minimum of 10 minutes)Read full review

Slim, good looking, is it the wife? NO!

Since buying this spin dryer, I spin all loads at 800 rpm in the washer, and in the winter, or on wet days, finish off in the spin dryer, which has a higher rate of spin, and takes a fair amount each time, extracting a lot of water. Saves wear on the washing machine.
Get one of these, you won`t regret it, and it is smooth and quiet. Treat the lid and safety disc gently. They are plastic, and will last longer if you use your common sense.

Fantastic spin speed, compact, simple to use. Especially good after doing hand washing and will cut drying times in half. Leaves items easily dry enough for indoor drying too.
