Shucked the drives and went to work!

They aren't WD Reds anymore, and you'll potentially need to do something to disable the pin 3 changes (search for PWDIS) but these are still great drives at a great price!

Reliable storage for media

The well known WD white labels are usually inside, which have similar firmware to the WD Reds. I use it for media storage.
