Excellent at getting rid of unwanted weeds and grass between cobbles and flagstones.

This gadget is one of those ones where you say to yourself - "Why didn't I get one of these years ago?" All those hours rummaging about on my knees getting weeds and unwanted plants out of nooks and crannies where they shouldn't be. Very easy to operate, although the gas canister attachment mechanism seems a bit lacking in how well locks on but hasn't been a problem. The burner could do with a bit more power on occasions. These two small criticisms are probably down to the gas canister manufacturers as part of THEIR specifications rather than the wand manufacturer.Read full review

Quite dissapointing

Bought this to kill the weeds off however it just isn't powerful enough. The flame is very week and I stood for 5 minutes burning a small 6" high 1 strand weed. Only to find out that after a couple of days of rain and now sun it is standing there again just as strong. I also tried it out an a load of other weeds, all of which are still standing.
I decided to put this down and get out the blow torch instead, yes I have to be a lot closer to the weeds and bend down but at least it gets the job done. This product is quite a disappointment and I would not recommend it for anyone to use.Read full review

Very Efficient

I absolutely love this! It's great for keeping weeds at bay with very little effort. I've marked it 4 stars as the weeds after time do come back - however - it's a means of eradicating weeds with a little bit of fun! Good supply of tins which will last you awhile ( been months and still have half left)
Just be careful using it around fencing - a bucket of water might come in handy :)

It Has Various Uses

I found this a bit of a faff to do the weeds as it took ages to burn them and the weeds came back within a week so I resorted back to using weed killer and this burner is perfect for defrosting my metal padlocks on my gates in the winter and I also now use it to get my coal fire started in the winter months which it works a treat for and saves lots of time waiting for the firelighters to get the coal fire going.Read full review

The handle could be longer for as I am over 6 foot tall and having to bend over causes back pain after a while!
