Works Great - Improves my grilling
I saw the iGrill Mini at a friend's house a couple of months ago. I was impressed so ordered this one from ebay. Then the weather was too bad to grill until a day or so ago when I tried it out. It works great - synced with my Samsung Galaxy S8 just fine, no problem with using it from a reasonable distance. I grilled thin chicken (which is very easy to overcook), and it came out done just right and JUICY. I'm a believer!!Read full review

Good but not great
The igrill mini seems to work better inside the house rather than outside. I found that using it outside on the grill the signal dropped a couple times per cook. I also found the temperature reading about 4 degrees higher than the actual internal temperature. On the other hand using it inside while cooking in our oven the igrill mini was great. No signal fade and the temperature was dead on. It was nice to know the internal temp of our roast without having to keep opening the oven. I actually mounted the magnet on the cabinet next to the stove. So now when I cook inside the igrill mini is mounted out of the way and the signal reaches all over our house. Overall I'm pleased with the igrill mini and I would recommend it especially for indoor cooking. Read full review

Easy setup with the app and pair with my iPhone.
My old bbq thermometer finally bit the dust after several years. So I thought I should get a replacement that would work with my phone. After reading good reviews, decided to give this a try. This is a very useful cooking tool. So far my only complaint is that the range of the Bluetooth is grossly exaggerated. The makers claim the range is close to 150 feet. My experience is closer to 15 feet. But so far it affords me adequate information about the progress of my grilling projects. Besides I saved nearly half the cost by purchasing it on eBay instead of Walmart. Read full review

Weber igrill mini
Have only used once. I have always had a hard time getting 2" or better steaks grilled to perfection. Not a problem with the igrill mini. Easily programmed on my android and set up temperature. No longer over cooking the meat
Until using this thermometer i had regularly over cooked most of the meat i grilled. Every meal prepared now is perfectly cooked, moist and tender. The only issue experienced is when the app occassionally locks up and current temperatures are not sent to the phone. Ive deleted the app twice and reloaded it, at which point all works well again. I purchased the mini specifically for the size and weight. I needed a good thermometer to attach to my rotisserie and the mini fits the bill perfectly.
