Good, strong fabric - works very well

This brand is a made in a much more durable fabric - strong plastic type fabric whereas the previous ones I bought (from a different supplier) were so flimsy (almost paper) that in the first rain or wind, they split. I have only just hung these out, so it remains to be seen if they are as efficient, but certainly the previous ones did the job very well indeed (I have an orchard at the bottom of my garden so wasps were always a great problem.Read full review

Great invention

These things are a great invention and really effective at deterring wasps from eating our damsons and Discovery apples. They last about 3 seasons before exposure to the elements and chewing insects makes them brittle but that’s great value for what they cost.
The hanging tag on one of ours wasn’t attached and would glue but 5 minutes with a needle and thread soon put it right.

Well worth a try at this price.

The material of the Waspinator is kind of a plastic compound like you would get in a waterproof beach bag liner. I filled it with old bits of bubble wrap and it's about the size of a rugby ball. It's hard to say what the shelf life is yet but it's had some heavy and prolonged rain to contend with and all seems to be ok. As for the wasps - well - that's hard to say too. Sometimes it looks as if one appears and then scoots off, whilst sometimes there are wasps just inches from it. We do have a lot in the garden that attracts wasps - so maybe the question should be "what would it be like without the Waspinator?". I suppose time will tell, but it seems to be worth the cost to give it a go wherever you are.Read full review

easy to hang, looks like a wasps nest, good deterrent.

hung it in our garden summer house. We eat meals there and only saw one wasp which quickly departed.
Moved it to the heavily laden Victoria plum tree. During regular picking sessions I did not see any wasps.
It certainly took away the anxiety when eating meals and picking fruit outside.

Easy to set up.

There are mixed views in our family, as to whether our waspinator is totally effective. If left out all summer, as we do, we need to replace each year as fabric starts to wear out. I do think that it does
deter the wasps, just get stray ones !!! So I will continue to use them, as we eat out a lot in summer months.
My two arrived very promptly and were well packed.

More than happy

This was a highly recommended product and is easy to set up. I wanted it to stop wasps nesting under my eaves and was impressed to read on the packaging that you can also use them at bar b q's etc. Great and efficient service and good value.Read full review

Extremely disappointed. .

It just does not work. We have wasps nesting within the porch over our front door so not ideal at all. I didn't think wasps were around until about September but they've been here since May. However, having read all the positive reviews here before buying, I was really impressed and so I bought a waspinator and hung it up - the wasps just flew around it and carried on into their nest. I had great faith that this product would solve the problem but sadly it didn't. I thought it may be too good to be true and unfortunately I was right.

I’ve bought waspinators for years. They work well. They seem to keep wasps away.

Waspinators seem to work. I’ve used them for several years now and have very few wasps around my house and garden. I put them out in March, when Queen wasps start looking for places to build nests and take them down in about October or when it gets cold. These are better than the ones I’ve bought before. They look like they’re waterproof, so should last longer than the previous ones, I’ve bought, from other sources, which disintegrated after a year. Read full review

Wasps gone - NO !!

we put the two up - following the instructions - as we had 3 wasps nest in the roof tiles - put one back and one on patio at front - we live in Spain - where the wasps are meat eaters and prevalent. Also have 8 dogs, so water bowls. It got rid of them initially and we thought "that's good" but by that evening they were back in hundreds, more than before !!!Wasps A tip from a friend who runs a restaurant nearby........put some washing up liquid in a couple of bowls away from the dogs' area, and the wasps will zone in on the frothy soapy water........ result - hundreds of them killed. Great Product

Great product, material seems to be good quality. I stuffed mine with plastic bags,. The wasps are rare visitors now thankfully it does work. Before there would be a big gang of them in our garden all the time. Definitely recommend.Read full review
