BF-T1 Review
The radio is very small and compact.
Although the antenna is only about an inch long and the radio puts out just one watt, I'm amazed to get such good results.
I was able to access GB3AY (repeater in Dalry) from the west end of Glasgow indoors, low down.
The distance is about 25-30 miles away.
Charging the radio is no problem if you have an android phone, the charger plugs straight into the radio and fully charges within about 90 minutes.
Modulation from the radio is crisp and clear but a little bit high on tone.
On the downside, the radio needs it's own programming cable or you can't put in the frequencies you wish to use. Also the radio's receive volume is way too loud on the lowest setting.
I've done a simple modification to the radio to make it quieter.
The ptt button is actually two small buttons at at the top and bottom of the ptt bar.
Pressing the top or bottom of the ptt bar gets better results than trying to press the middle of it.
Overall the radio is great value for money.
Considering the radio came from China, it arrived a day earlier than the first due date.
Big thumbs up from me.Read full review

Good for kids, or inhous, nearby talks.
For the price, wich is very cheap, this is a good product, now I'm not saying this is a walkie talkie. this is just a toy, cause it wouldnot recieve after 2 -3 streets, meaning wals of 2-3 houses.
it does work good on open fields. also it has a button that's not really good because it's not really stable, sometimes it works sometimes it does not. radio fm does not work if you are normally on the ground, you need to clime up to get some reception. but hey this thing cost almost nothing, so it's what the prices suggests :)
we use it with my doughther, to talk in house or just outside, while playing.
this is not a prof walkie talkie, this is just a funny kids device.Read full review

Small pocket radio for everyday use
This small radio is incredible. Easy to use with lot of functions. When you program it via PC (easy task), you can use it directly. Charging possible with all microUSB cables and chargers. And it looks like it is legal in Europe while in low power mode and correct PMR446 channels programming. You can take it with you every time - lightweight and small.Read full review

Baofeng BF-T1 first experience
Nice radio, lightweight, simple and easy to operate. Not tested yet maximum range but if considering 10th of meters, transmitting is clear and easy to understand.
Only minor disadvantage is that without programming cable is not possible to program channels, but programming cable cost is negligible.Read full review
