Wahl 9655-1517 Hair Clipper Set

Working well so far, used twice. A large selection of attachments. The included scissors are not bad but not used them, no need. Already paid for itself!
Don't yet know how long a charge will last but there is a mains use option and a wallwart included which acts as a battery charger too.
Again, don't know how long the cutting blade will remain sharp but oiling it should help.
It has the Wahl name but, like most things now, will be made in China. As a result it's durability and longevity has to be doubtful.Read full review

Rubbish Comes Appart while in Use

I bough this as I though it would be good quality. I tried clipping my dog using the longest comb straight away the head fell off. I found this completely useless and returned it for a refund. No wonder it was on offer.Read full review

Top Quality and Good Value

These cordless clippers are nice and light - very easy to handle and use. To be kind to myself - well, I'm of vulnerable age - I'll admit I don't exactly have a thick head of hair but I'd reached the point where what remains was riding over my collar and my hair was bushy at the sides.

Wahl clippers did a great job. I didn't bother with holding a mirror to the back of my head to guide the blades when looking into the bathroom mirror. Having fitted a No 3 guard (the one I ask my barber to use), I simply guided the clippers up from the base of the nape and lifted them off as I reached the crown. The sides were dead easy to do and the result is a very acceptable haircut. The scissors (provided) trimmed the front and top, and the whole job took no more than ten minutes.

A minor disappointment is that it takes about 16 hours to charge the clippers but once done, the quality of Wahl is clear.Read full review

Best clippers I've ever had

No fuss and easy to use I'm a beginner and find that these are lots better than ones with a permanent power cord on it gets in the way.
Great brand and excellent value for money as I would pay 2 or 3 times that paid for this kit as it comes with all size guides, left and right taper guide, scissors, comb and a little bottle of oil for the blades.
Would have been nice if they came with a bag or something like that to put it all in but it doesn't change about how I liked the clippers and for the price I cannot complain at all. Read full review

A delight to use !

Having separate combs is much more reliable than adjusting the cut height by using a switch as on other brands of trimmer.
As it's cordless that makes it much easier to use - although there's the option of reverting to corded use if the battery runs out! Read full review

Lightweight and crisp

Really good lightweight clippers direct from the manufacturer that can be used on battery or plugged in so you needn't end up looking like B A Baracus (unless that's the style you're actually going for!) if you run out of charge!

The product is very good value. It is easy to use. The blade is easy to remove for cleaning. The charger light remains solid red when the charger is plugged in to the mains even when the item is fully charged. A CUT ABOVE THE REST.

Such a great item, not heavy and cuts perfectly with one run over the head, i have tried others and i had to cut the same area of the hair more than once to get the cut i wanted but not with this clipper, it is fantastic and i got the job done in half the time, apologies as i am unable to add a photo of the item but it is the WAHL CORD/CORDLESS hair clipper, i would definately recommend to anyone.

Great cordless clippers

Would I buy this again? Yes.

I have used this twice now.
Working very well.
Battery charges quite quickly. Being cordless, no cord gets tangled when you’re styling your own hair.
The attachments are graded no. 1, 2, 3, etc, just as in the barbers’ shops, and are helpfully marked with the hair-length in mm.
