Great shaver / hair clipper

Since Covid-19 forced all hairdresser to close down indefinitely our hair has been growing and becoming an issue, I was forced to get one of these clippers and thought to myself what's the worst that can happen, even if I mess it up, hair's going to grow back, but I was pleased that with no skills I was able to give myself a very decent hair cut that made me feel fresh and cooler.
Of course the only downside is that not being in an hairdressing facility, and not owing a hairdresser apron, my hair went everywhere on the floor in the bathroom and it was a complete mess, so take that into consideration.Read full review

This is my first clipper , it's really great . Comes off as a quality product , very sharp .
My hair was starting to grow abit long , ( i usually cut it down to 1cm length at the hairdresser ) and i cut it from maybe 10cm down to half a centimeter with this when i got it .

Like i said it s really sharp but the engine do stall when you go to fast and the hair "clogs up" , but at the right "medium" speed it cut my hair like butter , when it was starting to grow abit long , and thick .

I was surprised at how heavy it was and that it vibrates quite abit .

It also lacks a good case for storage , so far i'm just using the plastic package it came in and i also dont have a place for it in a cabinet , i just have it on a shelf and if it were to drop to the floor it would have no protection .

But i've read that one of wahl's goals is to make affordable quality clippers and the clipper itself is affordable and its quality .
So i guess they have cut cost from selling it without a quality case .

It also lacks a quality storage system for the plastic things to set the cutting length but i guess thats also to cut cost .

So all in all i give this 5stars because it truly is an affordable quality clipper and i m sure i will use this for many years to come without any problems ! :)

They probably could've charged twice as much for it and it still would be an acceptable price for the product

But i'm probably gonna get myself one of these tiny "aluminium suitcases" for storage .

If i remember correctly i ordered on a saturday night and i think it shipped to Norway from the UK the last day , within 24 hours . Think it took about aweek to get it in the mail right before christmas .

Sharp and easy to use

I like the sturdy quality and razor sharp blades, able to handle tough hair easily. The fitted trim height combs could be more sturdy though, bending and probably breaking after some time.

Great bit of kit

Nice bit of grooming kit. Well made, loads of accessories, handy docking station with charger.
I use it daily and it never lets me down.
Just make sure you oil the blades regularly.

Expensive but....

Great clippers

These clippers might be above the average offering in cost but I’ve had the average ones before. They do beard trims and eyebrows ok but have their limitations.
What I didn’t get were clippers that really could cut my hair easily and without fuss. These can and do it really well. I’m very happy to recommend them with the one caveat which is I can’t talk about reliability.Read full review
