WORX WG304.1 4 HP 15.0 Amp Chain Saw

This company goes above and beyond.

I had a issue with the first saw they sent me as it had a defect which happens from time to time.
I contacted them about it and I was a little upset because I was trying to get the work done before I had a surgery planed the following week.
Well they took and sent out a new saw, free of charge I might add and told me to keep the other for parts. That's unheard of in today's market but not for them.
But not only did they do that, they found a way you get it to me before the surgery so I was able to finish the job in the allotted time.

Not Recommended!

Chain lubrication method/mechanism is inadequate/bad. Chain runs dry and not enough lubricants sip through if not at all.

The electric motor, if not switched on, won't turn freely which is very odd because almost all electrical motor turns freely when not switched on. Probably bad engineering and I am afraid to face an imminent failure due to existence of this some kind of unexpected frictions.

I bought a 14" Worx electric chainsaw which performs beyond my expectations so I bought this 15A 16" expecting equal or better performance but it is not any better than the 14" I have, performance-wise and also design/engineering point of view.Read full review

Cuts fast!

I had enough of fighting with the Husqvarna gas saw, read the reviews on the Worx saw and bought the 18" model. The blade can be tightened by turning a knob and there's a window that shows the oil level. Unless you're a logger I don't see why anyone needs a gas saw. FYI don't screw the oil cap down all the way or the vents get obstructed and the chain doesn't get oil.Read full review
