A great tool that makes it easy to remove dead thatch and moss from your lawn.
I have used Wolf garden tools for over thirty years and they are so reliable and built to last and this has a 35 year warranty.
The wheels support the rake at the right height and and you just pull it. The blades pick up the moss etc and drag it out. Push the rake back and the blades pivot and release the accumulated thatch.

Wrong working angle

Pulls up a lot of thatch from your lawn, but what is not clear is that you need to buy a custom made handle. The wheels are at such a height in relation to the blades that you have to bend down really low to get any traction and thatch off of your lawn. To the point I thought that it was a design flaw certainly a let down to German engineering and makes very hard work of what could be something of an relatively easy task.Read full review

Would be perfect with some adjustments

The moss remover rake is of the same high quality that I have come to expect from Wolfgarten Tools, however, I found that the wheels raised the tines too high to allow the rake part to penetrate the surface of the lawn to a sufficient depth to remove the thatch and moss. It would be a 5 Star rating if there was some way to adjust the height of the tines. The wheels do make it easy to use, it just needs smaller wheels or longer tines.Read full review

Just what I needed to remove thatch from lawn. At first sight thought angle wouldn't deal with problem but it did. So pleased I got this as, now a senior, was finding it hard work to use a manual lawn rake. Only have small lawn but worth it to me. Very good quality.Read full review

Surprisingly good tool

I was a little sceptical about its claims but the moss remover rake works pretty well. It still takes a fair amount of effort to use but it's an awful lot easier than using a rake and a lot cheaper than buying or hiring a motorised scarifier.Read full review

Simply excellent.

This item is solidly made of good quality materials and is incredibly sturdy. It is easy to assemble and disassemble and the feel of the metal is smooth to hold. Whilst it takes physical effort to use it to scarify your lawn, if unlike me, you are physically fit, it really does a brilliant job. The first pass over my back garden lawn which is of a small to medium size netted me a black garden refuse bag and a half of moss which the scarifyer had removed.
I cannot praise this item highly enough for its manufacture and practicality. As a manual scarifyer it is the tops in my opinion and I recommend it absolutely to those seeking a method of scarifying their lawns that does not take up storage space or require electricity to work it. A job well done!

Just used our moss removal rake for the first time! Really pleased with it. Simple to use and well made and much less tiring than a conventional rake! It removed absolutely loads of moss and the wheels help it glide along making the job easier. Was pleased that the handle, often you have to purchase it separately! Being able to remove the rake head helps with storage. Would definitely recommend this product! 🙂Read full review

Fairly easy to use

Sturdy of very good quality. It is of straightforward design, as you would expect of a rake which removes 'thatch' and loosely rooted moss. I expect this product to have a long life, after all it was not cheap.Read full review
