Quality well designed and quiet.

Replaced my long serving belt and disc sander with a cheap one that went wrong and had to be returned and then bought the Vonhaus bench top sander,wow it's far better than anything I've owned before,well thought out design for assembly and the actual using of the machine,it's quieter and smoother running than the others with enough power to do what ever I've thrown at it,I am actually glad my old machine packed up now or I would never have known there's better out there for less money,what a bargain.
I can't comment on longevity yet but have no worries ,the quality is evident.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Vonhaus.

Great sander at low price

I reviewed many sanders, and indeed purchased two heavier machines, which both had to be returned due to transit damage.
On reflection I reconsidered my need for a sander - I am a hobbyist woodturner and began looking at the many lighter machines available, there did not seem to be much between them?
I bought this machine mainly because of the price drop to circa £87.00.
I was delighted with quick, efficient and well packaged delivery.
The sander is perfect for my needs and operates perfectly, I would recommend this for similar uses.
Incidentally the build quality is on a par with the returned Record and much superior to the Sealey (very poor).
