Good but could be better ( poor brush head )
After looking up reviews on the internet, I bought this item for my son's birthday. It wasn't expensive, it has good build quality, so overall, it looked to be the pick of the litter. By and large it is. My son is very happy with it. So far so good. Now I have a similar item myself, a Hoover 22Volt. I just bought a house in France, so I needed a cordless vac for there. I've had my Hoover for a couple of years now and it's fine. However, it's difficult to find the same model. I therefor chose the VonHaus item. It's fine, apart from one issue. It's not nearly as good at picking up dog hairs as is the Hoover. The problem is that the spinning brush is too soft, compared to the much firmer Hoover brush. I've tried swapping the brush heads, they are very similar but not quite, so that's a no go then... Such a pity. It's a design fault if you ask me, and one the makers could easily remedy. Till then, the VonHaus product isn't as good as my old, tried and tested Hoover. A shame really, but fine if you don't have a pet.

l do like this vacuum cleaner its lightweight and easy to use, but the thing l dont like at all is that its so very difficult to clean out,and seems to need to be emptied every second use. Getting the filter out and cleaning it is a complete pain but has to be done very often or else the cleaner loses suction. So ok overall, but a big hassle to keep it working properly.Read full review

Not very powerful but this thing definitely gets the job done. It’s a premium device for a budget price. The design features ooze quality and maintenance is about as simple as it gets. It performs adequately on pile carpets but is more at home on hard floors or carpet tiles. The battery easily copes with a small to medium household without the need for recharging. Excellent value for the money
A new top of the range Dyson costs £600. This costs a tenth of that, so you are getting a mini, not a Rolls Royce. Connection is a bit clunky, capacity is low and the whole thing is too short. But what do you expect? She does the job better than the one I'm scrapping, is simple to use and easy to store. Having only had it a couple of weeks I can't comment on its reliability but very happy with it so far.
