Great strimmer - shame about the blades - see my tip!
Great lightweight strimmer - ideal for my medium sized garden. Plenty of battery time. I have the hedge trimmer too so I can interchange the batteries, but not needed to do so. The red clip on cutting blades let this product down! They are too flimsy! But, a well known brand uses green blades and they are compatible with this strimmer and give a robust performance - order those!Read full review

Has issues, be careful near rockery.
Everything was going fine until I used it near a rockery, the cutting disc has a small plastic pip that holds the plastic cutter, the pip burnt straight off when it touched a rock and the plastic cutter went flying off, it was the impossible to connect another cutter to the machine. if this fault could be improved the the machine would be perfect, lightweight, easy to use, benifit of being rechargeable. asked for refund, this was given promptly. i was satisfied the way my problem was delt with.Read full review

A great product with excellent value !!!
It is much better than my previous Qualcast trimmer in almost all aspects :
First of all the battery is amazing it lasts for well over half an hour of straight use without stop, even when the grass is moist.
It also charges up super quick, in less than half an hour, and is easier to clean as well.
It has a handy telescopic adjustable rod, with is very handy, and is good in hedge mode.
The only drawbacks are that the blades are quite short, and the support holding handle, needs to be tightened up with a built in screw each time you switch its position, instead if just pushing a button, as in other brands, other than that i am very happy.Read full review

Cordless strimmer gardening without trailing cables
Light but still trims the grass and edging without any effort. Plenty battery life for my fair sized garden front and back.
Order spare blades, instead of feeding a cutting line you swop this for regular changing of the plastic blade, however these are easy to change out and cheap to buy. Hope once I get more accustomed to its use I can extend the blade life. I used two when I strimmed the front and back lawn including lawn edging.
Still an improvement over the mains powered version now consigned to the back of the shed.Read full review

My 2-stroke strimmer packed up and as I have the Von Haus 20V Max G range Hedge and Pole Trimmers which are brilliant bits of kit, I ordered the Grass Trimmer on Sunday & it arrived today. Much lighter than the old 2-stroke, it is far more comfortable to use, and being battery powered there are no cables to cut through!
Unfortunately I didn't read all the instruction manual before attacking the long grass, with the result that I had grass wrapped around the spindle and the motor labouring. It took a while to clear the wrapped grass and on referring to the manual I found that it specifically mentioned this, and to avoid it, to cut the long grass from the top - down in less than 20cm swathes. This I did, and it worked perfectly thereafter. I particularly like the adjustable angle of the trimmer and the adjustable shaft length which allowed me to trim some heather with the greatest of ease. A winner.Read full review

Great bit of garden gadgetry for the money. It is a shame it only as the one cutter on the head though. mind you came with loads of new strimmer blades and it's really nice and light to use so +side cheap easy to set up and use .

Great machine
I would give this 5 stars had there not been a problem with the charger after 2 uses. The supplier was excellent and quickly replaced the faulty item. The strimmer copes beautifully with grass, nettles and ordinary weeds. Anything bigger needs a brush cutter but that is exactly as described. I use it as a magic wand because it is so easy to grab and go without having to mess about with the petrol strimmer.Read full review

OK for the money... But wouldn't necessarily reccomend it.
This strimmer is OK. Battery life is pretty good to be honest. It's light weight. The flip side is that the construction feels pretty flimsy but it holds together OK.
On the downside, it's grass cutting performance isn't great.
It's OK for what it is, a cheap strimmer, but you might want to explore spending a bit more and getting a better tool.Read full review
