Definitely worth the money.
Bought this as i was laying some porcelain floor tiles & really didn't want the hassle of doing manual cuts. Less than 40 quid so why not, right? Anyway, how glad i am than i did. It went through porcelain floor tiles with ease. It looks a bit plasticky but who cares if it does what it's supposed too. I read a few reviews about people getting soaking wet whilst using it. I can only imagine that they overfilled the water tank. It says in the instructions not to do this, just to put a drop in to cover the tip of the wheel. I did this and had not problems. It's definitely worth buying it will save you loads of time.Read full review

Average - poor quality
I bought this cutter to tile our small porch (1x1.5m). The cutter does cut but not as well as ones I've used in the past. Not sure if the blade dulled but it starting chipping tiles badly. To combat I started cutting tiles upside down and it then pretty much struggled to get through much.
Also one of the screws (I assume holding the motor) came loose and jammed it completely.
To summarise it cuts but not impressed with the quality and wouldn't fancy tackling a larger job with it.Read full review

Handy Tile Cutter.
Considering I paid £33 for this it is a bargain. Had to cut every 600x300 tile in a cloakroom to obtain the desired results. No splash, no dust, certain cuts were free hand due to the tiles being too large to use the guide, cuts top and bottom sides of the porcelain, clean regular to prevent build up of clay which could put load on the motor.Read full review

Makes easy cutting
Good but could be better as the guard over the cutting wheel only pusher's in.
On my old one adjusted with a large plastic screw, and was very easy to adjust the height of the guard.

Vitrex Til Cutter
Arrived in good time & well packed. It's very light weight plastic, not that that's a bad thing, I'm just not shore that I would take it on a building sight, It would snap in half the first time someone steeped on it. With most tile cutters; it could do with fixing down when in use as being so light weight you tend to push the thing across whatever you are working on ! The water trof has a overflow on the inside so when you want to move it it will spill the contence all over the place. And there is no piratical way to rinse or drain dirty water out of water trof.
But as a home DIY Home tile cutter it's an excellent little machine that dosen't spray water all over the place when cutting like others do !Read full review

Lightweight and speedy cutting
Excellent little tool does what it says on the tin, flys through wall tiles like a hot knife through butter, a little messy but thats a disadvantage of water cooling blade found the edge guide to be of less use when using the extended table tiles were too long and so had to cut by eye, not a real problem but if the guide fitted onto the extender it would be of more use.Read full review
Best I've had.
I've worked my way through 7 or 8 cutters in my time. This one's the best so far; quiet, precise, accurate guide, extendable for the big ones, and with an easily removable spray guard so you can cut from below. £42.00 !! Paid for itself on the first day.Read full review

Excellent product.
Excellent product. I hadn't done any tiling prior to getting this. Had reservations over whether the blade that comes with this would be any good, but used it to cut 12x500x300mm porcelain tiles and cut them quickly and easily with the blade that came with the saw.Read full review

Good quality and versatile
Great little gadget that chomps through quite thick tiles with ease. Messy job and expect to get wet but fast and effective. Complex cuts will still need a tile saw but straight edges, corners and bevels no problemRead full review

great features clean cuts
not that noisy, water doesn't spray at all, angle cuts are pretty good and it's a sturdy, stable machine much cleaner than a grinder.
