A well designed control button on handle that does not get switched off or turned to high accidentally every time you try to dry segments of hair, which is usually the cause of frustration with a lot of these stylers. Seems to control the "prone to frizz" and flyaway type of hair very well. You get 5 attachments which is probably 3 too many for people like me who only want the barrels but very nice to have the choice, although this means I cannot comment on the straighteners and direct air nozzle as I don't use them. With the heat available, together with a very good cool shot though, I am sure that they probably work well. Good value for money.Read full review

Okay but wouldn't buy it again

The good points are - lots of attachments making it a bargain to buy; smaller brush barrels for short hair; dries hair quickly - well it did mine because I have short fine hair, so might take a bit longer with thicker longer hair. The bad points which have influenced my decision not to purchase this again - noisy; makes my hair very dry looking; handle is a bit too wide for me to hold it comfortably in my hand; I have found the on switch a bit hard to push on, and the first setting is the loudest so you have to push the button up a bit further to the less noisy setting - think these should have been the other way around. Am disappointed with this, it being a Vidal Sassoon, and have been looking for something to replace my Babyliss hot air styler now for months - thought I had found it with this one but am still looking.Read full review
