A simple and cost effective way to save the family slides

Although there were no instructions it was really easy to use as you just needed to flick through the menus. Even if the slide went in the wrong way round it was easy to flip the photo and although I initially needed to save to the SD card, I could easily upload via the USB cable (also used to power the scanner) to my laptop. I am no whizz with technology but this was pretty straightforward and I managed to scan and save over 1000 old slides over the course of a few days. The quality of each photo appeared to match the quality of the original slide, I just needed to take care that I had them in the holder correctly so that I didn't cut off parts of the photo during scanning and so that the slide holder could fit through the scanner as it is a snug fit. A cost effective way to save our memories but I will probably sell it now the job is done so someone else can do the same.Read full review

Apprehensive but needn't have been.

After finding a large collection of old 35mm negatives I began looking for a means of digitising them and re living old experiences. I looked at a number of options , one of which was the Veho and was a bit apprehensive of its performance after reading some reviews.
I am not a professional photographer and was only looking for an acceptable reproduction to save for prosperity so decided to buy the product.
What a great decision that was! It is so easy to operate and within minutes I was fast at work copying what turned out to be over 3000 negatives.
I can accept that a professional might want better quality but surely the end product is only as good as the origiinal and for my purposes getting the results that I did from 40 year old negatives was more than I could have anticipated.
The Veho screen provides a basic idea of the framing and colour range of the negative but when transferred to the computer the photos come alive. If you are looking for totally easy option, without bells and whistles to capture your old images, in my opinion this is a great option.

Quick & simple

Quick and easy to use scanner .Colours can be a bit washed out with 35mm negatives, but these can be re-adjusted in my editor. Scans colour slides fine!
LCD screen makes lining up negatives easy work.Read full review

Practical, efficient and easy.

This slide copier is great, it is not designed for my computer and will not work with windows 10, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. It will load hundreds of good quality slides as digital photo's on to the included SD card and then you can transfer them, in seconds, on to your computer.

It will take 3 slides in a slide carrier and you can copy all three in about 2 minutes. It's a bit of an anti climax, as it is so easy.

Brilliant slide and negative viewer and converter to digital photo!

Very easy to set up and operate; this has 'unlocked' loads of negative images from my parents lives, and enabled me to store them as digital photographs which can also be printed.
Its a fantastic bit of kit for very little money.Read full review

Does the job.

It is simple to use and produces good results, so far as I am concerned. One is dependent upon the quality of the original slides/negatives and also how they have aged.

A easy to use slide digitiser.

A well made and easy to use copier. It does not improve the
slides. This can be done on your PC with a photo app

Good way to digitise slides and negatives.

Does what it's supposed to. Easy to use and will take both slides and 35mm film.
