Vaillant Analogue Time Switch - The old ways are sometimes the best
Easy to install. It was to replace a remote room stat and receiver. Always had trouble pairing them. We removed the receiver, reinstalled a wired link to RT, and plugged the timer in. Excellent and no problems. Read full review

Never actually worked!
My own fault - I tried to save a bit of money on a new one but this never actually worked (couldn’t get to start ticking once fitted) so a complete waste so will have to get a new one anyway. ( My existing one is not that old, a couple of months only, and seems to work fine but always stops when it reaches the time to switch heating off but switches it on ok - odd!) Read full review
