Great stuff

This machine takes the elbow grease out of simple tasks. I made a basic hat from start to finish in half an hour - my first ever probject using the Maxi. It completes the family of Prym machines and looms I now have, allowing me great versatility in methods of making, to complement my hand knitting and sewing.

The next project will try making the rib version, where stitches are 'run' down the length then worked back up with a crochet hook to 'knit' on the opposite side of the work. I'm sure even more patterns could be possible by manual manipulation of the stitches on the machine.

A lot of trouble for little return

This machine is not for anyone not familiar with knitting etc.
There are many things that affect how well this thing works and when it doesn't it makes a mess.
When it does work the style of knit is not that good and there is really not a lot you can do about it.
When making a toque the material has to be doubled over or else it will be too thin .

I would like to return it but to send it back from Canada costs too much to bother.
I will keep at it trying different wool but the effort seems too much when I can make nice ones with just a bit more effortRead full review

very robust lightweight plastic needles very strong

pyrm knitting machine saves you so much time a hat can really be made in 30 mins need to spend a bit of time to make sure you cast on correctly as this saves hassle in the long run it you cant follow a knitting pattern then this is for you as i like to make items for charity can use cheaper wool works just as wellRead full review
