good item for a good price
ideal for the purpose and very inexpensive, easy to put together, only problem was that the bolt that holds the post the steering wheel goes on would only fit through one of the three holes on the corresponding piece of the foot (and then took some jiggling to get it in !) luckily this is the right height for my husbandRead full review

Does everything you want it to do
I like it. There is a slight tilt if you push it backwards and forwards due to the way the adjustment system is set up, and if you are too aggressive with it I guess it could wobble to the sides a small bit but neither of those are problems for me.
It's light, everything attatches securely to it and there's tons of adjustments you can make. The stand stays secure on the floor, It hasn't moved when I didn't want it to. You can attatch a stick shift to either side (depending on how you assemble it), or mount the wheel centrally if you don't have a shift. In either case, the support stands right beneath the wheel to offer support right at the center of mass where it's supposed to. Fits a large variety of wheels and although I thought it wouldn't be as secure because it fits with the clamps rather than bolts (only one wheel can be bolted down), I was happy to find out it everything fits very securely.
Pros: Good at it's job
Cons: Doesn't make you coffee
In all seriousness I think it's great value for money, especially having seen the price of competing products. Entirely metal and wood. Works great for Truck sim.Read full review

Great piece of kit for racing sims
To be honest when I saw the price for this I thought it wouldn't be up to much, how wrong I was, this is very well designed, very well made and finished perfectly. The price is unbeatable and delivery, especially considering this was bought in the lead up to Christmas was fast. The packaging and box that it comes in is also very well done and provides great protection for transport. It is easily adjusted to just about any chair or seat, I use it sat back in my sofa and it is really comfortable and stable in use even when going a bit heavy on the brakes and gear changes :-) If you are thinking about a stand then I would definitely recommend this one.Read full review

Surprisingly good.
I was apprehensive before buying this stand, and was a little put off by some reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. Sure if you are a hardcore racing sim enthusiast, this isn't going to be ideal, but for a couch racer like myself this stand is ideal. I use this in combination with my X Rocker gaming chair and it's actually pretty sturdy. I was expecting it to move side to side during heavy turning and game play, but it stood it's ground.
The only negative, it pushed away from me when braking heavily, my solution to this was initially a slip mat, that only proved to be slightly effective, so I basically sit it right up to my TV stand, which means it doesn't budge at all. I can see how this might not be ideal for everyone, so be aware you may need to consider how you would combat this prior to purchase.
That is the only real negative I would give this stand personally. I mean really you have to consider what you are paying here, other alternatives are extremely expensive and not and friendly on space. This works for someone who is on a budget, values space in their home and does not call themselves a racing sim enthusiast. If you are an enthusiast, if your looking for a permanent solution, steer clear.(See what I did there... sorry) If your a part timer and just looking for a good value space saver, this is for you. Again you need to consider prior to purchase how you will be setting this up and what you are going to be doing to hold in place, as again, during heavy braking, it does become an issue. (This might be less of an issue on a wooden floor or laminated surface as the feet provided may be more effective on those kinds of surfaces. My floor is carpeted.)Read full review

Steering wheel stand
Bought this stand as I was a bit skint. It was the cheapest I could find. Am so glad I didn't have much money, it is great. So easy to assemble and put away. 1 minute to fold away.it works as well as ones my friends have that cost 3 times as much. I have told my brothers about it and they have both now purchased it and are as happy as I am.Read full review

Affordable first wheel stand
Easy to put together. A little movment in the up right t bar but thats easy to stop with peddals. Did think the holes may have been all rwady there for peddal set. So had to use screws n washers at sides to stop movment. But it is what it is. A first time set up wheel standRead full review

Astonishing value for the money!
At first, I was a bit reluctant to go for this stand due to the price and not having previously bought anything like this before.
But... Having it delivered in 1 day, being very well packed and seeing the build quality and the ease of use I am completely amazed by the value if provides.
If you are not an 8 hours/day hardcore racing gamer, there is no point in buying anything else that is MUCH more expensive.
One more thing, it's really important to have few (around 5-6) cable ties in hand in order to manage the cables very neatly not to interfere with your driving.
Personally, I also mounted the charger underneath the base with double-sided tape in order to make it easier to pack up after I use it - I recommend this for everyone who wants no more trouble with it hanging around freely.
That's the best "bang for the quid" you can get on the Internet! Definitely highly recommended!Read full review

Just what we needed
Always a bit dubious buying stuff like this on eBay. I wasn’t entirely sure what I needed (was a birthday present). It’s brilliant. Easy to put together, height adjustable, sturdy. Just one thing, the brace bracket on the base to stop the foot peddles moving as you use them is in the middle and on the peddles the wire comes out of the middle of the device so we have had to sit the peddles slightly off centre. Doesn’t affect the playing though!Read full review

Cheap, but not robust enough
Main crux of this unit is that it is not heavy or wide enough for a G27/29. It can handle steering forces, however the pedal and the general "push pull" that happens it cannot cope with.
The Floor stands does not have enough grip,
The Neck does not have enough stability, it requires another strut to stop the "back and forth" motion. Movement is around 1-2" where the wheel is- this is when it is fully tightened.
The side adjusting knob (adjusting neck height) will get knocked by your knee when you Heel-toe,
I have modified it in a few ways to remedy these issues -
1) Raised the end of the footbed (15cm, using furniture legs and added weight within the legs), it provides more ergonomic and seating position and shifts the vertical shaft more "out the way" of your knee so you less likely to bash it while heel-toe. It also requires less neck height so it is less likely to wobble back and forth.
2) Added another brace linking wheel plate to the base (location is left of the clutch and around where the gear shifter is), I have used 2x 1" hinges and a plank of wood (had these to hand), this improved stability when push/pulling the gears/wheel. Unfortunately this does not fold anymore while this strut is in place.
3) A grip mat on hardwood floor and adding more weight on the base to provide a better grip to the floor, this is still "work in progress" as it still slides, likely i will cut legs to correct angle (around 20degrees) and put some rubber grips on the legs.
Notes:
# I find it annoying how it folds away as you will need to tuck the wheel under base (not just fold over). This is annoying when you try to route wiring as it needs to be stretched.
# I also find the a singular support point not adequate as a second re-enforcing point between base of neck and base would likely have better stability.
All in all, the quality of materials are good, but the design - I dont think this is a good base to build/mod on. I previously built one with a £15-20 workbench and had less hassles to get it to work properly (though of course it was heavier and cannot adjust height or tilt angles very easily.)Read full review

Nice stand but slides around easily on a wooden floor
It's a nice stand and well made but it slides around very easily on my wooden floor. I've tried both types of legs that come with it and no legs at all, but it was all the same. The seller kindly sent me some velcro pads but they made no difference. I kind of feel bad for leaving a negative review but if it slides around the floor then it's not that great. I'm going to keep it because of the hassle and cost of sending it back but I'm having to have it pushed against a leg on my bed to stop it sliding. It's probably better on a carpeted floor but I haven't been able to test it that way. I think a racing seat would be better for people with a wooden floor, to stop the sliding. Maybe some large rubbed pads would be best for this to have on the bottom?Read full review
