Does not detect cat urine

Bought this as I am convinced my cat has peed behind a kitchen bin. Shone it on the area; no sign of urine. Fabulous, I thought! I then shone it in an area I know that has been soiled by my cat...no sign of urine. Huh? So I then shone it on any area I know my cat has relieved herself on-and even on the litter trays- apparently my cat has never piddled on anything, ever! A miracle! No good at urine spotting but it’s a nice blue colour

Turns out it’s completely useless at finding urine, I.E. house in darkness and the litter box shows no sign of any wee at all,
So try the loo, nope nothing there either so just to confirm I go for a pee not none of my pee shows up lol
