Diabetics heaven
I’m amazed that many diabetic's still don’t know about this product.
I’m a relatively new diabetic of around 3. Years, & prior to this I was a sugar lover,
Tea & coffee 3 or four sugars a mug.<br>Total sweet isn’t the same as those horrible alternatives which leave a bitter aftertaste,I tried everything that’s available to those who can’t have sugar & spent ££..
Total sweet is the only alternative to sugar..looks like sugar & tastes sweeter but no calories no anything.

Tastes pretty good.
Tastes sugar-like, but there is a difference which I don't mind. I certainly doesnt taste bitter or weird like some substitutes do. It inhibits plaque forming on teeth, has lower calories and GI than sugar, and doen't spike insulin like sugar does, so you don't get hungry. Can cause some wind to begin with as is not fully digested in the stomach, so can be fermented a bit in the lower bowel. I found this got progressively better the longer i used it. and I feel it has benefitted my bowel flora, which was probably full of candida from all the sugar I ate. It is toxic in even small quantities do animals esp. Dogs and Cats, because of the way they digest sugars - it causes them to produce a massive amount of insulin. Read full review

An easy to use, alternative to sugar.
My husband is diabetic, he uses Total Sweet Xylitol Sweetener instead of sugar. It has the same strength & has benefits with controlling his sugar levels. With no differing taste.
Xylitol
It is really a good replacement for sugar and you can't tell the difference. It is a good brand and a good price

Sweetener alternative to light powdered sugar.
For using in cooking ie making custard, cooking apples. I don’t like in tea or coffee. If can effect some people making them loose if that is already a problem. Read instructions before use.

Healthier than Sugar
Though more expensive than sugar xylotol is better for health and especially for teeth. It has a lot less calories than sugar, but still tastes nice (unlike a lot of artificial sweeteners) and its suitable for diabetics too. If anything I think it is a bit sweeter than sugar - but maybe thats just me!Read full review

Good product at a good price
Xylitol made from birch is the only sweetener that doesn't send me over the top, but the price of it in the supermarkets is rather expensive. I am pleased to be able to buy 3kg in bulk at such a reasonable price(I don't have to be so tight on how much xyitol I use anymore). Read full review

A good substitute.
I got this for my sister because she had to stop using normal sugar due to an illness she has. She finds it a good substitute. I would recommend it to others who have a sweet tooth.
