I,ve used the bivvy once so far and overall I,m quite happy. Speedy set up and quicker to pack away than most shelters. There was very heavy rain most of the night with quite strong winds, it stood up well and remained put. One small fault, a few drips at the porch area where the material is pulled taut by the frame. My new tf gear force 8 1 man bivviy.

Well I got my new tf gear force 8 1 bivviy today. I put it up in the garden for the first time. And I was impressed. So a good look around it. Then I tried, my bedchair in it, I thought to my self, may be I should have brought the 2 man, but with a bit of organization, it well be great. And for me it's not for long stay, anyways. So I tried it again after putting it away, but this time it was a bit trickier to put up, some of the legs folded under them salfs. Then I thought what have I done, the only thing that I could have done was put a way wrong, oh left the doors shut. So I undone the doors, pulled the legs back under again, fan it all out again, and tried again. But it started to go up, the one of the legs bent the wrong way again, I thought now what, have I broke it, so afther another inspection, I couldn't see any think broken. So fan it out again, had another go. But this pulling up the bivvy higher at the same time as pulling the to handles together, this seem to have worked. Oh Wray. It's a lovely pise of kit. So this is just my view on this bivvie I must add. I think it needs more practice in getting it wright before useing it on the banks. So once I've got it wright like the first time I put it up, I can't wait to use it on the banks with pride, infront of my mates, lol so thank you fishtec. Many thanks GlenRead full review

Took this fishing Friday in 19mph wind and it stood strong didn't budge! Does as it says, easy to put up took me about 40 seconds to put up and about 2 mins to take down and put back on bag. Not had it out in the rain yet but seems good quality

Still not up

Received the bivvy this morning, after two hours of trying I have still not go it up. Followed instructions, went on line looked at video. No way can I get this up in 45 seconds. Will try again tomorrow but have to be careful not to break any poles. Will be sending back if I can not get it up tomorrow.Read full review
