Very Good Laptop
First this is Windows 10 and not Windows 8.1 - I was bothered at first but really very little difference, so if I wan' Windows 8.1 I will buy a copy, the laptop is worth it.
The Laptop is fast with lots of memory.
The Laptop is shiny so not hard to clean finger marks
Not to much bloat to get rid off.
Windows 10 is INSTALLED on this machine, not upgraded so it works well.
This Laptop has Bluetooth, Optical Drive a contained battery that you can access if need be.
Microsoft Edge is the new browser, I did not like it at first but, I persevered and it's miles faster than Firefox.
Sound is really good, better than my old Toshiba which I had for years,
In my review I am talking Windows 10 - If you get Windows 8.1 then I am sure it will be fine and you can upgrade if you wish.
To conclude - you will not get a better Laptop at this price.Read full review...

Wrong operating system
Although this machine is good i purchased it as i needed a computer that did not operate on windows 10 this was advertised and in the writeup it was stated in no less than three placed that it was loaded with windows 8.1, ideal for what i needed. When it arrived it was already loaded with windows 10 with no option to revert to 8.1 as this had never been loaded. Needless to say totally useless for the purpose i bought it for. This Toshiba laptop is to all intents a good machine but if like me you cannot have one working on windows 10 then i suggest you look elsewhere.Read full review...

Replacement
I brought this laptop to replace my old slow Toshiba laptop which I had a number of years. The price I paid was very good as I am not using all day long was ideal for my deeds. I have not been able to upgrade to windows ten having tried several times. Not a problem for me as window ten has had some bad press. Wrong windows installed
Having gotbfed up with s/h laptops buying this was I thought going to solve all my problems of sticky tabs,slow running pages,& crashing to say the leaast,how dissapointed I was to set up the laptiop & find it had windows 10 installed and not windows 8 as the ad had stated.
I loathe windows 10,its just not acceptable to me,so I was not impressed.
A reply postage label was sent to me to return the laptop,with the statement it would not be replaced or exchanged.
