There are several websites and YouTube videos showing the replacement process. It is not like dropping in a new AA battery however. Pefect Fit. Easy Install if You Can Solder

This replacement works perfectly. I'm now getting two weeks use out of each charge (brushing once a day). This is the second time I've replaced the battery. The last time was five years ago so the battery lasts quite a long time.

The YouTube video and how-to web page are totally clear. Pay attention to the warning that you need some basic soldering skills and tools. Using a solder vacuum tube worked well for me but the wicking braid would probably do the job as well.

It's much cheaper and better for the environment to get more life out of your Braun by replacing the battery in this way. Next time, I'll order the larger size for even more time between charges (see the how-to web page for an explanation).Read full review...

Doesn’t hold its charge that long. Wanted this to hold its charge as old battery lasted 2-4 days after normal charging/ Usage. This install has not changed anything.
