Solid square construction.

I was impressed with the ease of assembly and the solid feel when the arch was erected. The Chambers arch replaced a round section arch which could not support the weight of two roses and some clematis which had created a lovely shaded walkway. Obviously, I pruned the surplus vegetation and the new arch fitted the site perfectly. I was able to use the existing post holes too.

This is now the best of 4 arches over a pathway and has been treated to a new, expensive, climbing rose from Austin's.Read full review

Not impressed

The description didn't match the item, neither did the item match what was pictured on the box.

Some of the legs didn't fit together properly.

The fittings inside the cross bars were unreliable.

Set it out ready to assemble and it rained, when I went back to it, it was already showing rust, despite having a protected coating.

The was a bad feeling about at the start and instead of accepting a discount I should have sent it back.Read full review

Beautiful, sturdy arch

Love this metal arch. Assembly wasn’t too difficult, and I’m rubbish at diy! The assembly instructions aren’t that great but I still managed it. It’s lovely and sturdy. It now provides an entrance to the rest of the garden from the patio. I have ordered a lovely climbing rose for it so can’t wait for that to arrive and to start scrabbling up the arch. I would highly recommend it.

Good Value for the price

Ok, the assembly instructions are not perfect but I put that down to manufacture in China. However it's hardly complicated to put together. It can be done on your own - I put 2 of them together. Once in the ground it's sturdy enough, with a little wobble, but it's not going anywhere. There's plenty of height so can be pushed further into the ground if needed. You can't really complain for the money paid. If you want something stronger dig deeper in your pockets.Read full review
