Titan TTB631SDS 240V Corded Rotary Hammer Drill

Very powerful, no need to spend more.

Great price at nearly half the original price from Screwfix. The drill was brand new and had all the SDS bits to get you started. I used it to chisel out an old fence post concrete base and it had no problem tearing the concrete apart with ease. Also used 20mm drill bit to install rawbolts and again made easy work in concrete to do this, just let the drill do all the work as no need to apply hardly any force. Overall this drill is very powerful and does feel a quality bit of kit. It is heavy but well balanced and no heavier than other makes. As long as you keep on top of grease servicing which is every 5 hours of use then I think this will be good for a lot of use. No need to spend more, Very pleased. Read full review

Excellent Purchase

Excellent heavy duty drill which compliments my lower power battery De Walt drill. Heavy but manageable. No reverse though. Ideal for the DIYer who needs more power - I was screwing railway sleepers together.
Bought it on eBay from primeretail for £47.95 and it was as good as new - this was a significant saving from your usual retailers, making it amazing value.

Solid bit of kit

I bought a much larger version of Titan, almost 12 years ago, and its still going strong. So, recently when my daughter bought herself a house which needed a fair bit of work to be done, I thought I'd treat her to a lighter unit .
This is still a fairly heavy unit, mainly because it has magnesium gearbox and solid metal body. Having said that,you know its going to take on the tough jobs with ease.
This unit has three choices, inc rotary stop so you can use chisels.
Hopefully, the one I bought ispre ownership of screwfix, who seem to have cheapened nthe new models.
I'm sure this will be a useful machine which will help her through her busy diy over the next couple of year's
