Brilliant watch, perfect when you need your watch in the dark.
The Timex Indiglo is amazing. Being able to tell the time from a watch is a prerequisite yet when it’s dark, traditional watches are worthless. The Indiglo lights up by simply depressing the crown button illuminating the watch face and clearly displaying the time.
I chose the simple easy read dial as my eyesight is poor and I often struggle to read the time in many modern watches styles so this watch suites me perfectly.
It is a quartz watch with reliable time keeping, a very long battery life, well constructed in a stainless steel case and back and a good quality leather strap.
Considering the usefulness and quality of materials, I think the price is rather amazing too.Read full review

A Stylish Classic
This is a straightforward easy to read watch. It has the classic Swiss Railway type face, but at a third of the price. I "stressed" mine. I felt the original finish of the case of polished stainless looked a bit hard
and bling like, so I carefully brushed the case with 1500 grade wet and dry paper. It has made a world of a difference. It now has a more tasteful slightly Matt finish. The watch movement itself keeps good time, and the Indiglo function works really well. For a watch that you can read in a split second, this is a very good example to have, and at a price that doesn't break the bank!Read full review

Why don't Timex Still Make This Great Watch?
Nice large face and numbers. Can be read without glasses, especially at night using the Indiglo. Couldn't find any other watch to give me the same facilities.

Could've been better.
Bought to replace 25yr old example. Brighter screen, but day/date difficult to adjust, & no instructions!!! Directed to website for details, but unfortunately it's a bit rubbish. Why Timex don't see fit to include proper instructions to facilitate adjustment, is beyond me. I like the watch very much, but I suspect it's going to be a bit of a pain to live with long term, which might be a long time, if it's as reliable as my last one, which is still going strong after 25yrs plus, & more new straps than I care to remember. I just fancied a change, hope I don't regret it.Read full review
