Quiet, light and performs well.
Returned to twin tub washing, as i was fed up with other not washing clothes properly. Not many models around now, but found this one very good. Its light to pick up, you can see the washing doing. Quiet and easy to use. Simple buttons that are easy to understand. Only comment is the slider for water to each tub, is a little stiff. Also the waste pipe does not reach my sink very good. But thats my kitchen, nothing wrong otherwise. Would recommend to anyone who remembers twin tubs. Quick and good service too. Thanks again.Read full review

Large washing drum, Poor and fragile spinner.
Purchased as a second washing machine. Washing drum is perfect, very large load,easy to move and use. The massive downfall is the spinner it is not secured at the top so smashes off the side of the plastic sides, simple solution would be a supporting ring at the top off the spinner. Great washer
I've used this for a couple of weeks now and I'm really happy with it. It washes very well and the spinner is brilliant, washing comes out nearly dry. The pump is great too and it empties quickly into the kitchen sink. Of course it's a bit more faff than an automatic but there's no plumbing or space for one in my flat and I hate the laundry room! Thompson twin tub
Great machine. Gets the washing done in half the time. Only problem is draining the water off. Pump won't get it up to the sink so i put the waste pipe out the back door. I have a back boiler so have loads of hot water so i dont need a machine that is going to heat cold water and take ages doing it.Read full review

I could not be more pleased with this washing machine. It makes light work of a large wash, it washes clothes extremely clean with the washing action it has and is easy to use. All the dials are quite large and easy to see. It is not oversized in that it fits into a relatively small space and the machine itself is light to move if it is need to be moved. Lightweight but performs just like the twin tubs of olden days
This item has been a godsend. We are running our electricity off of inverters and generators as we have no mains electricity, it works amazing. There are only two of us, but we can do a whole weeks wash in about an hour. This works better than the front loading washing machine we had before.
The only thing I would say is the drain pipe could be a little more robust, like the inlet pipe.
I would definitely recommend this item 100%
