My dad who is 81 told me about this movie and how much he liked it. He's a veteran too. So i was out to find it and here it is. He's watched it twice and brought it to me to watch. He was so happy.

One of my favorite Christmas movies. This version has some scenes missing though. But still a great film. The acting is great by all the players. The story hits close to home for vets, getting cards and special packages from home does keep you going.Take it from me.
