Versatile and well-behaved

Light and small device. Once you come to terms with the strict handling rules of setting max current for the entire inserted batch and learn when to do press-and-hold etc, this charger becomes smooth to set and easy to monitor for its limited displays, with either cell by cell or global instructions.

When you realize the several advantages of monitored single channel charge/discharge devices, you can't drop the old basic chargers fast enough. This one gives the options and data I care for.

Note that capacity is displayed in different ways and at different phases depending on channel mode - check your manual chart so you don't misinterpret the numbers. Also be advised that once you exceed a displayed 1999 mAh, the display shifts to a 2:00 Ah format due to space limitations, and this looks kinda similar at a glance to 200 mAh.

The benefits of this kind or charger are also down to details like separating the mains adapter and its heat generation from the battery slot. Design features combined to prolong battery life, not shorten it.Read full review
