Great buy ..... worth the money

Don't be put off by 'shop brand' value products. This TV certainly competes with other 'name brand' TV's. Some people give horror stories, yet some have had a Technika for years with regular use and are still going strong.

The picture quality is excellent and full HD makes a difference, although it's worth noting that full HD is achievable on channels that broadcast in full HD.

The settings interface is a bit basic i.e. you can;t alter white balance, indivdual colour ratios and other finite settings you may get on other more expensive TV's ... but who cares? it does the job!
The best selling point for me is the sound. I don't like TV's where you have to turn it right up just to get some decent audio effect. This one is very good ...... way less than a quarter of the progress bar and it's loud! .... On a par with my Samsung TV, which are always good on audio quality. All in all .... a good TV and worth the purchase.Read full review
