Technics SU-600 amplifier
It's an old model, but still one of the best. It has just passed the Saint-Saens test with flying colours.
The test is to play the 4th movement of Saint-Saens’s 3rd symphony, a piece that makes heavy demands on amplifiers and speakers. If it doesn’t bring tears to your eyes, there is something wrong with it. If it sounds like a live performance and makes the furniture shake, then it has passed the test.Read full review
This good average
it has a good price-quality ratio, good sound in all ranges ... even the bass is natural. The downside is a slight hum from the network

Simons purchases
I am very pleased with it in particular how it has twistlock speaker connections as I had an accident and damaged my left hand along time ago and I would recommend this product great value for money for other customers 😀 Read full review

Technics top quality
A classic 1980s stereo amplifier from technics delivering 70W per channel into 8ohm
Like most 1980s hi-fi kit this includes a built in phono stage, in this case for both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.
It's built like a tank with a power supply the size and weight of a brick and power capacitors the size of Coke cans.
It does run rather hot so not suitable for use inside a cabinet with the door closed.
In terms of sound quality, the neighbours will complain about how loud it is before you hear any distortion.
Altogether a quality piece of kit and I would recommend it to anyone looking to put together a quality hi-fi system on a budget.Read full review
