Wanted to rewatch the series as we had enjoyed it so much when it was on TV. Just as good the second time round!

Daily life in the Green Valley

I love this time period in the countryside even though life could be very difficult and challenging. This film shows the details of daily life in a much earlier time. Anything with Ruth Goodman in it is a winner! She KNOWS her history.Great interaction between everyone in this film. They worked well together in order to survive.Read full review

A great prequel to Victorian Farm

A great series, interesting, factual and well presented. Suitable for the all family, particularly the more senior members.
This is a earlier than Victorian Farm, and uses a larger cast; but with the same format and main presenters.
Originally shown on BBC Wales without much fanfare, so my parents missed it.
Instead we are now greatly enjoying the DVD.Read full review
