Not fit for purpose

Polished some aluminium trim from my classic car and wanted to protect the shine so bought this lacquer specifically for this purpose. I followed the directions on the can and was left with a very flat matt finish which looked like I'd painted the metal with silver paint - luckily it was VERY easy to remove with a plastic scraper. I wouldn’t recommend this product as my items still tarnished after using it and it also took away any shine. You get what you pay for.
