Worth purchasing for a wi-fi signal boost!

Really impressed with this. I needed to boost my wi-fi signal in my study. Purchased this unsure if it would make any difference.
It has!
Not simple to set up. It offers three options for set up the first one being the simplest. But that didn't work, so had to try the second option which requires registering your original wi-fi router in order for the router and booster to link. But the second method did work and since then I've been receiving a boosted, improved wi-fi signal.

Debatable whether it works or not

Positioned on landing upstairs, way within range of my WiFi router, connection is good but signal from device varies. Starts off ok but gradually gets worse and worse. Have tried updating firmware and this has made some improvement but not enough. I don't even get half the speed of my WiFi router at best. Connection drops out frequently. Improved my signal

Cheap and cheerful range extender, don't expect a huge improvement in distance. It has made a bit of difference for me my reception has changed from intermitent to solid 'one bar' reception.

needs a WPS button on your router.

I am sure if your router has a WPS button it is easy to set up, otherwise forget it. I did get it working eventually and it worked where I needed it most but not as far as I would have liked.Still for the money it's O.K.Read full review...

Easy to set up using the WPS button on my router however I'm not sure that it's made much difference to the speed of my laptop in more distant parts of the house, maybe I'm expecting too much of it !
