Simply plug it in !!!
I have to be honest, I seriously doubted how easy it would be to turn my house mains wiring in to a network, but these TP-Link Powerline Adapters did exactly as they said.
I now have a wired network connection linking my two Virgin Media TIVO boxes and a home office that is completely networked with two laptops and a my work tester hooked up.
The speed is great and it just worked straight out of the box.
This now frees up my WiFi router for our phones and tablets.

Set these up yesterday and it couldn't be simpler. the instructions in the box were non existent, however they weren't really necessary as long as you know that you shouldn't plug these into an extension socket. as long as you plug them in the wall directly, they ae good. One minor criticism is that they are fairly chunky and as such, larger power adapters plugged in next to these are going to have to go into another socket, or an extension lead. Well worth the hassle though for the performance I get. 95+MB on a 100MB connection, so signal degradation is minimal and much better than the wifi signal I get in the same room.Read full review

The best product to extend your network
This product has been a life saver towards me!
I have been playing online games for a very long time, for around 20 years now and only recently has my ping become so bad, I decided to upgrade to this product. I was before running on WiFi and since my house is yet to be wired, these were the next thing in line. I ordered them, came in three days. Took a minute to set up, and my ping is now 19. My download speeds haven't improved too much but that was expected with the two Ethernet cables. You can get up to 300MbPs, with higher cat rated cables so I suggest buying better ethernet cables for this product. Overall, they are the best things I've ever invested in. Read full review

Much bwtter than old iterations
Having had previous power lines for 10 years this was a reluctant purchase as I didn't think performance would match outlay. Fortunately it seems the technical advances in power line networking have improved the offering no end.
Setup was very quick and the ability to create an encrypted network between the 3 adapters also seemed to give a performance boost. I'm within 2Mb of the advertised speeds and this is in an old house with partially updated wiring. Highly recommendRead full review

Convenient and fast, but ...
Bought a few weeks ago as one of three I have set up to provide a fast connection to parts of our older fully brick built house where WiFi does not reach. They were easy to set up and generally work well, providing connections that seem as fast as wired. HOWEVER - they do seem to lose connection from time to time for a few minutes. So far no serious complaints, but if the connection drops become more frequent or longer lasting then I may look for other solutions.Read full review

I already have 4 of these and I needed another one to complete my set up. They are connected to an Amazon Firestick, an Amazon Fire TV, a Now TV box and a notebook computer. I bought it thinking it would do wi-fi with pass-through, which will teach me to read the description more carefully. However after connecting it to my computer via a network cable I'm wondering why I've been putting up with vriable wi-fi connection for so long.
